Nestled neatly in between the Mexico pavilion and the main portion of the Norway pavilion, Royal Sommerhus gives fans of the movie “Frozen” the chance to enjoy a fun meet and greet with Anna and Elsa. Guests enter in the side of the Sommerhus which resembles a traditional Norwegian style of architecture. The queue inside of the Sommerhus does an amazing job of setting the scene. Guests feel as though they have stepped into a scene from “Frozen” as they view the vibrant colors of the crafts and architecture that seamlessly blend authentic Norwegian style with the whimsical feel of Anna and Elsa’s Arendelle. Eagle-eyed Disney veterans may also spot an ode to the classic retired World Showcase attraction Maelstrom hanging on one of the walls in the queue. Anna and Elsa are located in the same room, however guests meet and interact with the sisters separate from each other.
Disney’s Fastpass+ service is not currently offered for this meet and greet experience. It is recommended that guests avoid visiting the Royal Sommerhus during the initial morning rush as wait times are typically shorter during the afternoon hours. Disney’s photopass photographers are on hand to capture the moment as guests interact with some of their favorite characters.
