Dine in a 17th Century Hacienda at San Angel Inn Restaurante
One of the reasons the World Showcase is so popular is because each pavilion creates an immersive environment that accurately depicts each country represented. The Mexico Pavilion is no exception, and arguably creates one of the most uniquely themed dining environments in the World Showcase with the San Angel Inn Restaurante.
Enjoy a meal with a view of the Mayan ruins inside an inn modeled after a 17th century hacienda. You will have to keep reminding yourself that you are not in Mexico as you listen to the volcano rumble in the distance and admire the intimate setting that the San Angel Inn has created. Inside this restaurant, it is always dusk which helps add to the romantic atmosphere. The tiled floors and bright colors help add to the authentic feel that you are eating inside a hotel in Mexico. Plus, if you request a seat at the back of the restaurant, you will be able to watch the boats from the Grand Fiesta Tour drift past.
The traditional menu at San Angel Inn offers you the appetizers, entrees, and desserts that you would expect to find in a hacienda in Mexico. The entrees offer you a variety of options including chicken, beef, and seafood with spicy sauces and fresh veggies! You can even grab a premium margarita to enjoy with your meal. A lot of the popular margaritas located at La Cava del Tequila are offered here as well!
San Angel Inn is available for both lunch and dinner and is one table service credit on the Disney Dining Plan. Advanced reservations are available 180 days prior to your trip but aren’t always necessary. Come take a vacation from the theme parks with a trip to San Angel Inn Restaurante in the Mexico Pavilion!
